Cucusoft Free DVD Author è un ottimo e gratuito “MPEG to VOB Converter” cioè in grado di convertire file MPEG-2 in formato .VOB. Una volta ottenuto il file VOB è possibile quindi procedere alla masterizzazione e creazione di DVD+/-R(W) da vedere nel tuo DVD-Player di casa.
